Somewhere in your mind, there is a trip that you have forgotten. Once, you walked on a remote land and now it’s time to remember. Sit comfortably, close your eyes, and let yourself go… our journey has begun.

Voyage, A Session To Remember... is a performance that explores the possibilities of creating an artwork inside people's minds that is internal and immaterial - it can only exist inside one's mind. At the same time, it questions the veracity of memory, diversity in space travel, trance states, and our relationship to Earth.

With the use of hypnosis, Nahum created a false memory in people’s minds. This memory is unfolded by guiding the audience with questions about their experience of leaving Earth, walking on the lunar surface, and then observing Earth rise on the horizon. All the while, a series of soundscapes swell in the background alongside changes in the intensity and colour of lights to enhance the creation of the memory in a sensorial way. This intimate experience is unique for each person, giving birth to unique memories.

Originally, this performance was created as a critique to the fact that only men have walked on the Moon. As a response to NASA’s gender policies in the 1960s, Nahum wrote a hypnosis script to open up this experience to a wider number of people. This show is regularly performed in theatres, museums, and galleries worldwide.
