Evocations of a Forgotten Voyage is a series of lithographs that explore the connections between memory, fiction, and space travel. These artworks are the result of a multifaceted process that interweaves hypnosis, brain activity recordings, and radio signals sent to the Moon.

Following a series of performances titled Voyage, A Session to Remember, Nahum induced false memories of walking on the Moon in the minds of the audience. These memories were recorded through electroencephalogram (EEG) headsets.
In collaboration with a team of radio astronomers, the recorded brainwaves were transformed into radio signals and embarked on a journey to the Moon. After travelling over 700,000 kilometers, the signals reached the lunar surface, only to be reflected back to Earth, carrying with them the imprint of the Moon's touch.

After travelling over 700,000 kilometers, the signals reached the lunar surface, only to be reflected back to Earth, carrying with them the imprint of the Moon's touch.
Upon their return to Earth, these distorted brainwaves were transferred to offset plates. As the printing process unfolded, an unexpected revelation emerged: the printed images unveiled intricate patterns that strikingly resembled fragments of the Moon's surface.
These cartographies of a distant land, seamlessly blending fiction and reality, served as a reminder of the connection between our minds and the universe, blurring the lines between the tangible and the intangible.
