Holding Air captures the ethereal embrace in zero gravity during a space mission. People intertwine, suspended in a dance of weightlessness. This video explores the essence of physical and emotional connection without the epxerience of Earth’s gravity.
In Nahum's words, "When we experienced weightlessness for the first time, every point of our bodies had lost its weight. In that moment, we and nothingness were equal, as if we didn't exist since we couldn't feel ourselves. It was when I saw someone floating in front of me that I extended my arms and embraced them. In the act of feeling the other, I felt myself. It was a reminder that we can only exist if we are together."

Nahum continues, "In this action, the act of embracing becomes an intimate and delicate gesture. We were holding each other from the fall of the parabolic flight, but also, we were holding someone who didn't have weight, that felt like air in our arms."
As earthly gravity dissolves, the video prompts contemplation on how future generations may navigate emotions and connections beyond Earth, encountering varied and unknown gravitational conditions to our existence.
